Project: Millennium Tower Penthouse “B”

Project Description: 4,044 sq. ft. penthouse residence located on the top floor of Millennium Tower in downtown Seattle. The home includes three bedrooms, three-and-a-quarter baths, expansive living and dining areas, a full-length terrace, private rooftop access, and panoramic city, water, and mountain views.
Programmatic Issues: Transform a penthouse shell into a highly finished private residence with the scale, comfort, and refinement appropriate to one of Seattle’s premier condominium buildings. The design needed to take full advantage of the 180-degree views, create generous entertaining spaces, provide privacy for the bedroom suites, and incorporate outdoor living through both the terrace and rooftop deck.
Design Concept: A refined modern penthouse using simple geometry, natural materials, and highly detailed custom finishes to balance openness, warmth, and luxury.
Design Solution: The residence was organized around a large great room framed by walls of glass, allowing the living, dining, and kitchen areas to take full advantage of the surrounding views. A long skylight brings additional natural light into the main living spaces, while the full-length terrace extends the interior outward and provides direct access to the open air.
